DATES: Saturday the 26th April and
Sunday 27th April 2008
PONY CHAMPIONSHIPS: to be held over
both days including roads and tracks. Dressage will take place on 26th
and 27th will start with roads and tracks followed by cross country and
show jumping in reverse order. This pony championship will help determine
the British 3 day event pony team.
NOVICE LEVEL COMPETITION: to be held
on Saturday 26th April.
INTERMEDIATE COMPETITION: competition
to be held on Sunday 27th April.
ADVANCED COMPETITION: We are hosting
the only advanced level competition in the country to be held during the
weekend. The competition will take place on Sunday, 27th April.
THE DRESSAGE: in grass arenas on level
ground that will be rolled and aerovated prior to the event. The cross
country course will be re-routed to avoid the dressage field completely.
SHOW JUMPING: in a large atmospheric
arena with a generous practice area.
CROSS COUNTRY: over the well draining
pasture making full use of the natural features of the rolling land.
Aerovation throughout the venue will take place
if appropriate.
Frangible pins are used throughout all 3 cross
country courses on all suitable jumps.
